About the Department of Health Truth

A. Mission
The Department of Health Truth is an independent agency of the United States federal government, charged with the publication of authentic public-health information; the conduct of independent biomedical research; the issuance of advisories, recommendations, and Federal Concern Notices; and the correction of any prevailing scientific consensus the Department finds insufficient.
The Department's mission is, in the words of the Secretary, “to tell the American people what is true — and to revisit that determination as needed.”
B. A Brief History
1776 (retroactively).
The Department of Health Truth is, by its own internal documentation, established at the founding of the Republic. No archival evidence has been located, and the Department considers this absence consistent with its founding values.
1776–2024.
A long quiet period during which, in the Department's view, the country lost its way on matters of authentic health.
2025.
The Department is officially constituted by an executive directive whose text has not been publicly released. The Honorable Robert F. Kenmore is appointed as the inaugural Secretary.
2025, three weeks later.
The Department issues its first advisory, restricting acetaminophen on federal property. Senior staff issue their first formal dissent. The pattern is established.
Ongoing.
Advisories are issued. Dissents are recorded. Citizens write in. Voicemails fill.
